How to use the ISPConfig control panel ?

Go to http://www.yourdomain.com/ispconfig to access your control panel. Log on using the user name and password we send you by email. It should start with your firstname and end with your last name (ex : john.doe).

How to access FTP, SSH, SCP or SFTP ?

You need to create a user in ISPConfig with the appropriate rights and use the proper client software to connect (see our suggestions in the download section). The host name is yourdomain.com.

How to access the webmail ?

Go to the adress http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail and logon. To create an email account you must go in the ISPConfig control panel.

How to access my emails with Outlook, Thunderbird or other software ?

  • Incoming POP3 server : yourdomain.com
  • SMTP server : yourdomain.com (require authentification)
  • User name : the username of the email account
  • Password : the password corresponding to your email account

  • How can users modify their mail account?

    Mail users can change the configuration of their account at http://www.yourdomain.com/mailuser.

    How to access my databases ?

    Go to the adress http://www.yourdomain.com/phpmyadmin. Logon with the approprite username for the database you want to modify. To create a new database you must go in the ISPConfig control panel.

    What can I do with the ISPConfig control panel ?

  • How to create job with crontab ?

    For security purposes, you have to submit them in ISPConfig support ticket and we will add them for you. Please send us the path of your script and the frequency you want to execute it.

    How can I do backups ?

    We recommend to our customers to do backups on a regular basis. To do so, you must go in your ISPConfig control panel and download them on your computer. Please note that the daily backups we do are for our proper use, we cannot recover individual files.

    Can I install a SSL certificate on your server?

    Yes but you need to get a dedicated IP adress for 3$ per month. Once you have an extra IP, you can set up the SSL certificate in your ISPConfig control panel.

    How can I do backups ?

    We recommend to our customers to do backups on a regular basis. To do so, you must go in your ISPConfig control panel and download them on your computer. Please note that we can only image your VPS with your daily backups, we cannot recover individual files.

    Can I install a SSL certificate on your server?

    With your VPS account you have 2 dedicated IP so you can install 2 SSL certificate. We can get extra IP for 3$ each per month. SSL certificates can be set up in the ISPConfig control panel
